Martin P. Michalewski, MD, a board-certified robotic surgeon and urogynecologist
and member of Barnabas Health Medical Group, recently passed the 2013
Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) written examination
of the American Urogynecologic Society as a senior applicant. A certified
subspecialist in FPMRS, Dr. Michalewski is qualified to provide consultation
and comprehensive management of women with complex benign pelvic conditions,
lower urinary tract disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Dr. Michalewski graduated from the Medical University of Gdansk, Poland
where he also trained and worked as an attending urogynecologist. He continued
his clinical training by completing a residency at Saint Vincent Medical
Center, Sisters of Charity Health Care System in Staten Island, N.Y. and
a fellowship at New York Hospital Flushing Medical Center, Queens, N.Y.
Certifed by the American Board of Gynecology in female pelvic medicine
and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Michalewski is a member of the American
Urogynecologic Society and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
