Westpark Pediatrics Joins Barnabas Health Medical Group

Ocean, Manalapan, Lakewood, N.J. (January 11, 2016) – Westpark Pediatrics is now part of the growing multi-specialty network of physicians, Barnabas Health Medical Group, effectively joining Barnabas Health, the largest not-for-profit integrated health care delivery system in New Jersey and one of the largest in the nation. The practice is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, a Barnabas Health facility.

Throughout its 38-year history, Westpark Pediatrics has provided high quality care to Monmouth and Ocean County infants, children and adolescents. Founded in 1977 by Elias Sasson, M.D., F.A.A.P. and Judith Topilow, M.D., F.A.A.P., Westpark Pediatrics established its first practice in Ocean Township. In their many years of practice, Drs. Sasson and Topilow have treated multiple generations of the same family.

Over the years, Westpark Pediatrics has adapted and expanded into three convenient locations - Ocean and Manalapan Townships and Lakewood - to meet the ever-changing world of medicine and its patients’ needs.

Today, Westpark Pediatrics’ highly accomplished team of professionals includes seven board certified and fellowship trained pediatricians and four nurse practitioners. All are members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Known for its family-friendly and compassionate environment, Westpark Pediatrics prides itself on treating the patient as a whole and not just the illness or injury. The practice offers a variety of services for infant, child and adolescent health care, including physicals, wellness visits, vaccinations and advice on development, nutrition, infant feeding practices, learning and behavioral issues and adolescent issues.

“The partnership between Westpark Pediatrics and Barnabas Health Medical Group will support our goal of delivering easy, accessible, comprehensive care to the families of Ocean and Monmouth County,” says Dr. Sasson. “We’re excited to be part of this partnership and look forward to providing the highest level of care to our patients.”
